Joy of brushing with a new toothbrush

Yesterday I got myself a new Colgate 360 toothbrush with tongue and cheek cleaner. Was looking forward to brushing my teeth with it all evening. After a quick dinner went into the bathroom. Poured out the perfect layer of toothpaste on to my new 360 and brushed with measured strokes from left to right... top to bottom. Felt good.... felt fresh after my brush with my brush.
No my life suddenly hasn't become so sad that I am seeking pleasure in brushing my teeth. The point of the above description was that life is made of little joyous moments. People wait years for reasons to feel happy... Getting a great job.... buying a house... going on vacation... etc etc... How often do we get these big moments... And sometimes in waiting for them we miss out on the little ones like brushing our teeth.
