Prosperity <=> Migration

A simple fact people migrate to more prosperous lands. A land is prosperous because people migrate there. For prosperity you need economic activity. Economic activity means manufacturing goods, buying, and selling of produced goods. To sustain these economic activities we need people. It’s a cycle that sustains itself. More economic activities need more people. More people mean more economic activities.

Sounds simple and easy but there is a catch. It’s tough to start this cycle. For a land to take this path to prosperity. It needs to have certain things right. Obvious ones are geographic location, climate, and natural resources. Besides these are well defined and executed laws of the land, pragmatic governing body and above all the natives of the land should be peace loving and accommodating.

Prime example U.S.A. People from all parts of the world migrate to this country. They are provided with opportunity to grow and in turn contribute to the overall prosperity of the land. Similarly each country has its own USA. For India its Bombay, Maharashtra. Land where the governing body was pragmatic. People were peaceful and accommodating. So people from all over India migrate there. It takes time to make a land migration friendly but it’s very easy to ruin it. Plus it sounds logical to say that a migrant will stay loyal to his native land. True very true but because he earns his living from the migrated land he would always want it to prosper. I love India but I want Australia to progress as well.
A bihari loves Bihar but would always want Maharashtra to progress if he lives there.
