Before I start commenting on this movie…. Let me tell you who wouldn’t like this movie…Someone whose IQ is less than 100 (for reference monkey has an IQ of 90)… People (esp. girls and metrosexual males) who see movies for the dresses and songs…. And everyone who cannot use their brains for more than 5 mins in one go…..

Moviemaking is an art… Like painting, dancing… It’s not a formula of big stars with good dresses… foreign locations…. And big item numbers like most of the bollywood directors think… A movie at its very best is an expression of the director…. This expression is moulded by the requirements of money, intellectual level of the majority audience and the trend of the times….. Going by these parameters and recent movies like…. most of Akshay kumar series… the love (aaj kal and parso) series and Karan johar n clones series… The trend of the times and brain level of the facebook generation is going from dumb to dumber…

In the modern bollywood universe… There are only a handful of directors that are worth watching….. Vishal Bhardwaj, Dibakar Banerjee, Anurag Kashyap, Farhan Akhtar, Ashutosh Gowarikar….

Anyways coming to Kaminey… A good movie definitely worth a watch….First half was a little boring but the second half more than made up for it…. Music was good… Shahid Kapoor was good not extraordinary in the roles of speech impaired twin brothers… Rest of the cast was good too…. But Priyanka chopra stole the show as a marathi mulgi…. Though her role was not very long … she was excellent in whatever she had …. The climax was sort of expected… but still the execution was very good… Esp the background score in the last Armageddon scene….. The issue of north Indians In Bombay.... sorry Mumbai was beautifully handled…. And there is a point in the climax when you actually think that everyone is indeed a kamina in the movie… All in all it seems that the script of this movie was written before making the movie not after it…
