Who Am I

I was a Brahmin when I lived in Delhi…. Identified as a part of north Indian Brahmins in a 100km radius around Delhi…. And frankly that’s what I thought I was….

Moved to Pune for my engineering studies…. There I was part of a bigger group called North Indians…I saw myself as a North Indian… and frankly that’s what I thought I was….

In Melbourne.... I am an Indian…. Or a person from the Indian sub continent…. This includes India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka….. And frankly that’s what I think I am as of now….

Hmmm there is a pattern in this… Farther I move away from my place of birth I become part of a larger group… from few thousand to billion plus….

I guess I will have to move to mars to be part of a group that I was born in……called humans J
